Retaining original architectural features provides a basis for education, meetings, cultural events and other functions; former villagers offer personally guided tours, with personal anecdotes and authentic cultural experiences for visitors. This facilitates the revitalisation of historic buildings and preservation of traditional culture and skills with a goal of sustainability providing a win-win for all concerned. Village inhabitants are employed to help with the Project.
